What i learnt in Church today - The God of All Possibilities

Irrespective of the journey you are going through, always have these -6 assurances in the deepest part of your soul.

(1) YOU are not alone, God has always been with you and is still with you.  In life, you tend to know your true friends when you are at the lowest possible point of your life. This period is mostly an eye-opener to make us understand life better, to make us realise the fact that there are people who actually want your downfall. When we find ourselves in that point, all God wants us to know is that he is with us, he is there to be that friend that would walk the walk with you regardless of how others may see you as. Isaiah 41:10 says "fear not for i am with you. be not dismayed for I am your God... I will strengthen you, yes I will help you. I will uphold you with my righteous right hand" . This passage tells us we shouldn't operate in fear, for He is always available to strengthen and uphold us.

(2) When you realise you are not alone, there is no reason to be afraid. What fear does is paralyse your decision to make the right choices, and we tend to run away from the problem due to fear. But one thing you don't know is that the problem just waits patiently for your return. Let's desist from running away from our problems and begin to seek God's guidance in overcoming them.

(3) Watch what you say in your present situation. Whatever plight you  may find yourself in, especially at your lowest point,  be careful of the words that come out of your lips because you don't know who's keeping tabs on your statement. A good example of someone who cautioned his speeches was Job in the Bible. He was tormented by the devil but he refused to curse his God. He always had the faith and assurance that God was watching. Let's desist from been too froward . "Keep thy heart with all diligence; for out of it are the issues of life. Put away from thee a FROWARD mouth, and perverse lips put far from thee." ( Proverbs 4:24-25 )

(4) Know that God always has a plan. Just imagine you are a fresher in the University, an English student and there's a public lecture by an English guru,  Prof. Wole Soyinka. I'm sure you cannot dispute the knowledge he passes and you would learn from him without any doubt or divided ideas because of his abilities in the field. Just liken it to God who knows the beginning from the end and the end from the beginning. God is not one step ahead of the devil like most people say, he is eternity ahead. he is here to take us through the journey. We should always surrender our all to God and let Him show Himself. Here are some scriptures to prove God's superiority over us; Isaiah 55:8, Psalm 18:30, hosea 14:9

(5) In God's plan, the ridiculous comes before the miraculous . Most times God's ways may actually look ridiculous and not possible but the end is usually an unexpected miracle. In the parable of Jesus turning water to wine (John 2 1-8), where the servants filled the jars with water and sent by Jesus to serve to masters. Have you ever wondered if you were in the shoes of those servants, that you were asked to bring in wine but you brought water. I'm sure most of us may not have had the courage to do it because of its ridiculosity . But the end was a different story.

(6) Your obedience is key to the manifestation of God's promise. Without obedience to God's instructions, we cannot acquire the set promises He has predestined for us. It is better to obey than to sacrifice. Whatever and i repeat whatever God instructs us to do, we shouldn't hesitate to do it so subsequently, God will always answer when we call His name.

Points to Note.

The instructions of God are not suggestions, they are commands
The instructions of God are not ideas, they are the keys to unlock your miracles
The instructions of God are not theories, they are declarations that are set and assured.
